The Marina is now proposed as the marine gateway to the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and, with the extension to the Marina, it is proposed to provide a walkway from Western Ferries through the Marina to the National Park.
Our new berths are now in place, and should help with our visitors' and berth holders' spaces. However we have a few musters on this year, and are going to be busy so please give us a call in advance. Remember you can always book your berth in advance. Call us on 01369-701800, or give us a call on VHF Ch80. That way we can direct you straight to your berth on arrival, and save disappointment if we are full.
Western Ferries have asked if we can remind all berth holders and visitors to keep a wide berth from the terminal and the ferries on entering and leaving the Holy Loch.
Things To Do
Why not try a bit of archery, quad biking, or clay target shooting at Quadmania? Or Laser Combat Games at the Dolphin Leisure Centre? For bike hire made easy, check out XBikesargyll. There is also a cinema in Dunoon where the lastest films are shown. Why not visit Benmore Botanic Gardens, an enchanting garden steeped in history and surrounded by dramatic scenery. And make sure to call by the Holy Loch Inn, which is near the Marina. Go to our Links page to find more details of activities in the area.
There’s lots to do in and around the area and we have brochures in the office on most things, including bus time tables, etc. The bus to Oban stops at the top of the road, or take the bus to one of the wonderful woodland walks around the area. See the local bus time table.
We now have the Cowal Connector Bus which runs from Dunoon to Western Ferries and over on the ferry to Braehead and Glasgow. See here for details.
